Avatar Assignment
- Your task is define what an avatar is and to complete 3 - 5 avatars using various website generators.
- At least one of the avatars should be an avatar version of yourself.
- Ideally, it should reflect your appearance, interests, and / or personality.
- The finished products should be posted on your portfolio site. There should be a link "Avatar Assignment" under the assignments tab of your portfolio to the actual assignment.
- Be sure to include a definition of what an avatar is.
- Remember to publish your site. Otherwise, I can't view the final assignment.

- *** NOTE some sites won't allow you to save your avatars as a picture. If that is the case, you will have to use a screen shot ("Grab" on a Mac) to capture the images, then save them to your computer. To post them to your portfolio, you will need to open the resulting .tiff files in "Preview" and save them as .jpg files. Most online website creators won't accept .tiff files.***
- Ways to achieve a higher mark:
- Include active links to the sites you used to build your avatars. (Active means when you click on the name of the website, the browser actually takes you there)
- Find and list links to other avatar or character generators that you find on line. One catch, if you do this extra feature, be sure to generate actual avatars from the site(s) listed.
- Give each of your avatars a personality profile.
